About Asaborake
When I encountered old Japanese handmade items, they appealed to my dormant instinct.
Such old good handmade items sometimes could be a real eye-opener for modern people like me.
I just wonder if the timeless feeling for beauty could be reincarnated.
We also could find the designs, which seemed to be fresh and radical, in traditional Japanese beauty.
Unfortunately, I hardly have the emotion as I feel on old handmade items, on the mass-produced items.
I miss the warmth through handmade items, and have been looking for it...
Asaborake tries to fuse such a timeless Japanese beauty into the modern life.
Through our every piece created by hands, we'd like everyone to feel "the gentle flow of time".
We think that is a real luxury in the modern time.
With this concept, we began to make purses and bags made of Kimono/Obi fabrics.
Talking about our leather pieces, although there were many expensive and luxury leather bags out there,
we could not feel something like traditional Japanese beauty that any excess is eliminated for focusing on the essential quality.
It should be simple and functional, but also easy for everyone to be attached to every single character of the piece created by hands.
To make such a feeling of warmth tangible, we create our piece by piece by hands everyday...
We hope you can feel comfortable and warmth from our pieces;
We will deliver
a little luxury to you...
